Cinnamon swirl banana oat waffle topped with homemade raspberry & blackberry sauce, melted peanut butter and slivered almonds.
- 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
- 1 banana, mashed
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp cinnamon swirl protein powder (I used @cellucor brand)
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened almond milk
- unsweetened coconut flakes
Put all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until batter forms. Cook in a waffle maker!
For the blackberry & raspberry sauce I just took a handful of each berry and put them in a pot on the stove with a little water on medium-high. Let the water come to a boil and the berries will start to form a sauce. I usually mash them up while they’re in the boiling water. It doesn’t take very long so serve immediately or let it sit if you want it a little thicker.
